EXODUS Wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet with an incorporated, decentralized cryptocurrency exchange. It offers 138 cryptocurrencies for crypto-to-crypto, peer-to-peer swaps.
The wallet is a non-custodial wallet that offers great support and extensive more control over crypto assets. It does not directly manage or take custody of your wallet but allows you to full control it. Users can apply many different crypto assets with it.
To redesign the entire onboarding process of any crypto wallet with clean and visually appealing user interfaces. I went with EXODUS wallet since its one of the crypto wallet I recently started using.
The onboarding experience of EXODUS Wallet is not that bad but could do with some design improvement. During my journey flow, I found out that the wallet had - low contrast of some text and button, inadequate spacing between some elements and no security pass or question for a crypto wallet. I tried to provide solutions to these, to the best of my ability.
During the design process of the onboarding process of the app, I focused on making the process as clear as possible to the user. As this is a product that users are trusting with their assets, there has to be a very deliberate effort toward educating the users on what to to to keep themselves and their assets protected. I tried as much as possible to feature more of the Visuals of EXODUS on some of the screens. Also, I used icons that were relatable to users to depict essential information in the onboarding process.
In this stage I will be sharing the onboarding screen of the EXODUS wallet. I noted a few points that may be potential problems for users on the EXODUS wallet app.
